Tasks are easy to list. Handoffs are where work stalls: CRM to billing, billing to success, success back to product. Agents earn their keep when they collapse handoffs without removing accountability.
Standardize inputs
Agents amplify messy inputs into messy outputs faster. Normalize fields, enforce enums where possible, and attach source links to anything that becomes a recommendation.
Keep humans in the loop where stakes are high
Approvals, refunds, and contractual changes deserve lightweight human checkpoints. The agent should prepare the packet; the human should make the call.
